Tent Camping
2024 season closing: 26/09/24
Re-opening 18/04/25 – now taking 2025 bookings
Looking for somewhere to stay… Escape to the woods…
The tent campsite is situated in a 20-acre wood on the farm with no vehicular access. It is a peaceful haven teeming with wildlife and plants for you to discover and enjoy. Adjacent there is a grassy meadow, so if you have had enough of cooking on an open campfire, or whittling a fork for tea, you can still kick a football or lie back and count the clouds.
There are no pitches, so you can set up your tent, hammock, or bivvy wherever you choose or simply sleep under the stars if you like!
Free parking is offered for one car per tent. Cars are parked 300 metres away, so we supply wheelbarrows for you to carry your camping equipment in. We encourage you to enjoy the woodland, you might want to bring a bushcraft knife and see what you can create as you enjoy the warmth of the flames. There is nothing better than watching the sunset through the trees as you toast a marshmallow on an open fire after all.

Additional Information
Campfires are encouraged, but only in designated firepits please. You are welcome to use any fallen wood for your campfire, but please only use the firepits provided. Please do not cut down live trees or branches.
We welcome many touring cyclists, and we are on the Lands’ End to John O’Groats route. The woodland is approximately 1 mile from the M5 motorway. This is means we have great access to the roads around Bristol, the downside is there is a little background noise. We camp in the wood as a family, and think it is fine, but we want you to be fully aware, therefore we would not describe our woodland camping as a glamping site… If you have any concerns, please arrange a visit, before you book.
