What facilities are there on site?
CL Touring Pitch – Open all year. Each pitch has a 16 Amp metered (coin operated) 230v electric hook up, fresh water stand pipe and gravel parking. The site has waste disposal and recycling, no toilet or shower facilities on the CL site.
Tent Camping – this is a pop-up site (open Apr – Sep) with hot shower, toilets and cold water washing up sinks.
No electric hook ups sorry!
Tent Camping is situated in a 40 acre woodland, with it’s own grass field. This is ideal for tents, hammocks & bivies.
No vehicle access, 100m walk from car park, wheel barrows provided.
Campervan Camping – our second pop-up site (open Apr – Sep) with hot shower, toilets and cold-water sinks.
No electric hook ups sorry!
Campervan Camping is located in a dedicated grass meadow.
Bristol Caravans is also on site if you need repairs, servicing or accessories for your Caravan, Motorhome or Campervan.

Can we have a fire or fire pit?
CL Touring Pitch – sorry we don’t allow firepits
Tent Camping – yes you can ! For a charge of £5/night you can use our firepit areas and any fallen/dead wood you collect from the woodland. Please don’t cut anything down or have fires on the grass.
Campervan Camping – Please talk to us!
What about a BBQ?
All Camping Pitches – Yes, you can have a BBQ as long as it is outside your tent or awning
What precautions are you taking for Covid-19
We are adhering to the Visit England ‘Good to go’ guidelines for accommodation. In affect this will mean pitches being spaced at least 6 metres (ideally 10 metres) apart. All of our staff have been trained in current Covid-19 legislation and will make sure your safety always comes first. Do get in touch if you have any more specific questions and our Covid-19 safe plans.
Can I bring my dog/cat/parrot/tortoise?
CL Touring Pitch – yes you are welcome to bring your furry friends if you keep them on a lead on the CL Touring site itself and clear up after them. They are allowed off lead on the farm as we have no farm animals

Can I walk to a pub?
Yes, there a couple within walking distance. The Swan or The Bowl are in Almondsbury and are both about 30 minutes’ walk away. You can also walk to the Swan at Tockington (same name different village !) across the fields, give me a ring for directions, its about 45 minutes’ walk.
Can I have a pitch next door to my friends/family?
We don’t reserve pitches however our site is small so you will be near your friends if not next door.
Can I catch a bus into Bristol?
Yes, the T1 bus stops on the A38 at the top of Hortham Lane and goes right into the centre of Bristol, it is a quick service once an hour. Check the timetable at firstbus.
